GOLD COAST LIGHTNING STORM - NOVEMBER 18, 2001

A more detailed report will be inserted once a full run down of this day is determined. It's a bit far back for me to remember. These lightning captures were taken in the evening as the storm moved over the Gold Coast area by Steve Baynham from his home on the Gold Coast. This was a high precipitation storm which dumped lots of rain over a widespread area. The first picture is from the large cell south of beaudesert, but it died before it hit the Gold Coast bringing only rain.

I used my SLR to take these photos of the earlier apparent supercell south of beaudesert not long before it died.
