 SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS - JANUARY 22, 2000 Showers and Thunderstorms developed in northern parts of SE QLD on January 22, much the same as on January 21. I was chasing on this day.

Radar images showed
these storms to be very intense, however they developed and stayed in largely
unpopulated areas and to date there have been no reports of severe weather
from them.
